Journey with us to experience historic castles and ruins, a few battle sites, abbeys/monasteries, and scenic vistas, including The Highlands!
Scotland has many islands, and we will visit several, including the Inner Hebrides to visit the Isle of Skye, Mull, and Staffa. Keep your eyes open for puffins, the colorful birds that nest in these islands.
We will visit several lochs, including the famous Loch Ness, and may spot “Nessie,” the Loch Ness Monster.
No visit to Scotland would be complete without a visit to a distillery, where we will learn about the process of making “Scotch whiskey” and taste the beverage known as “uisge beatha” or water of life.
We will be a small, intimate group of no more than six travelers. No big tour buses for us!
